Dr. Peter Marzano is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician focusing in wellness and sports medicine. He has been serving Brevard since 2000. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Florida State University. He received his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean West Indies and completed his Residency at the Memorial Health University Medical Center at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Marzano is the sports physician for FIT (Florida Institute of Technology) in Melbourne, Florida and is also a volunteer for the Washington Nationals sports physicals. Dr. Marzano is the author of a Wellness website and newsletter.
In 2010 Dr. Marzano received recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance). In 2011, he received recognition for providing excellent care to persons with cardiovascular disease or stroke from NCQA's Heart/Stroke recognition program.
