Dr. Jose Santiago is a Board-Certified internist and has been practicing Internal Medicine in Brevard since 2004. He attended medical school at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his residency in Primary Care and Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York in 1997. Before moving to Melbourne, Dr. Santiago served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rochester School of Medicine while in private practice.
Dr. Santiago’s professional interests include the treatment of obesity and diabetes. In 2010 and 2011 he received recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance).
